Affected Products
Last November, we announced plans to discontinue the sale of new per socket licenses (i.e., sockets) for Veeam Availability Suite™ (VAS), Veeam Backup & Replication™ (VBR), Veeam Backup Essentials™ (VBE), and Veeam ONE™ (ONE) beginning July 1, 2022, as we've adopted Veeam Universal License (VUL) as our primary license option for these product offerings. We continue to see tremendous VUL adoption and are moving forward as planned, with one slight modification: The VAS/VBR end of sale date will be extended for existing per socket customers to Jan. 1, 2023. The sale of VBE and ONE per socket licenses to both new and existing customers will still cease on July 1, 2022.
